JAY P. BOHLANDER, 60, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Miller's Merry Manor in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a hot tar roofer with WPC Roofing & Sheet Metal, a 13-year-member of the Polar Bear Club, and also a member of St. Joe Athletic Club. Jay was an avid NASCAR Fan. Survivors include two brothers, Roy Bohlander of Decatur, Lee Bohlander of Fort Wayne; sister, Ila Korte of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Dan Bohlander. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Calling is also from 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
