ANNOUNCEMENTS

From Barry Donovan:

Our first snowfall has arrived and though beautiful and a reminder of those great days in the 60's when we didn't care if it was cold or wet, we played in all kinds of weather. Now I fondly think of the people listed as having a birthday the last half of this month. I remember the ladies of course, because they were beautiful whatever the weather. In addition, I remember the gentlemen in the group-(what's an antonym for gentlemen?) such as Pitino, Hartsing, Leuenburger, and Bonner. I know that a couple of these Old, Old turkeys live in year-round warmer climes so their old Bones won't freeze up. I figure I can get away with this as I am at least one month older than they are, But I just wanted to wish all 14 of these birthday folks a very happy day and may we outsmart father time every single day. Happy Birthday you-all. :)

On March 15, 2019, we invite all classmates to attend the 1963 NSHS quarterly dinner at Hall's Guesthouse located at 1313 West Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne Indiana.  The dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Steve Heine asks that you notify him your availability as soon as possible at either heine4019@hotmail.com or 260-749-8737 so he can confirm the number attending with the Guesthouse.  If your plans change after contacting Steve, please let him know as soon as possible as the facility will charge for those who do not attend.

We understand that those living out of town cannot always attend the quarterly meetings, but we would like to hear from you. If you would like to share with your classmates, please feel free to send a note to Steve Heine at his contact information listed above.   This is a great opportunity for all of us to remain in contact and share what is happening in our lives 55 years later.

Here is the latest our class web site:

Thanks to the generous donations of our classmates to the 55th reunion, we will be able to maintain this site indefinitely(well, until 2030 so far which seems indefinitely).

An  inaugural quarterly newsletter has been added as a new feature and a forum for everyone to participate in with your stories.

A new tab will be added to the home page to connect with the North Side High School Alumni Association(more to come).

Since we are keeping the site, let's use it.

  • Time to update your profile?

  • Help find missing classmates.

Almost half of our classmates have not joined the site yet.Do you know someone to invite?

  • In Memory

At least 150 classmates live out of state, so the committee will continue to need all the help possible to keep up with notices.

This site is a wonderful tool for all of us to keep up with each other.Hope to hear from you soon.
