Anita and I were always in the same class from K Garden thru 6th grade.  We were both "M's" so they always grouped us that way at Franklin.  We were special to our classmates because we had the same birthday and that mean "double treats" from our Mom's Kitchen on that day for the class.

Anita was always upbeat, smiling and of course very smart in all the studies.  She was also one of the fastest runners and could catch all of us when we played "Pom Pom Poll Away" on the playground behind school.

I am sure that in her teaching career, Anita touched and contributed to many young people.

My sympathies to her family and my hopes that all the good memories remain.
